    @Jaytrd2002

Can you post more pics of your truck?...

What are you looking to achieve with said lift, and how much do you plan on spending for just the lift alone?

As for tires, you'll have to just do your own research instead of having a bunch of random people telling you what to use. Some like Cooper's, others are Falken fans, whereas some would only have BF Goodrich, etc. This really is more dependent on the type of driving you do, where you live (climate, etc). and you haven't given us much of anything at all.

With that being said, go with Bilstein 5100's all around or an OME kit and call it a day.

    You mean tire sizes, right?

'Cause you want to keep your stock wheels. (Tacomas don't have 'rims')

balljoint spacers and block lift in the back. 100%!! :D

@Jaytrd2002: We need more info here. The most appropriate lift depends on a lot of factors.

What do you intend to do with your truck? What's your budget?

Guaranteed there are many many people who have come before you that use their truck in a similar way (daily driver, hard off-road, or anything in between). I suggest searching this site (upper right corner), and if you still have questions, we'll be more than happy to help.

I also might suggest looking through the build thread pages, and see if you see something that strikes your fancy. Then try to emulate their build as much as is practical.

Unless your wanting to hardcore off road, rock climibing etc, why not just put a decent set of Bilstein shocks, skid plates, rock sliders, and leave it stock. Less stress on all your drivetrain components, and cheaper in the long run on costs for upkeep. I had thought about lifting mine, but decided to keep it stock. There pretty capable trucks as they come from the factory. If your goal is heavy front bumper with winch, and heavy rear bumper, then OME would be a decent choice without breaking the bank. And one last note, keep a sharp eye on those lower ball joints.

Are you reading what anyone's actually saying?

Just get yourself the Bilstein 5100's or OME kit like I initially suggested and call it a day.

@Jaytrd2002 , the longer your on TW, the more you'll see this

    :spending:
And that's because, serious upgrades to enable one to do heavy duty off roading, isn't cheap. Also, take the time to read some of the builds from the members out west, who have invested some serious time and money into their trucks. Then, you'll have a better idea, of what your needs are vs your wants.

If you're wanting to stay around $600 I'd probably go with this list, pricing is from Amazon:

    Front:
    $180 - OME 2881
    $200 Bilstein 5100 (24-249928)

    Rear:
    $140 Bilstein 5100 (33247717)

Spend the rest of the money on an add a leaf or lift shackles. Or save up for new leaf springs.

That can be anywhere from a few hundred to several thousand dollars, so... what's your budget?

Best bang for your buck is a set of 5100's from Bilstein, and an add-a-leaf or shackle for the rear. Or you can step up to a set of external resi Kings and Deaver J59 leaf pack for like 3 grand.

You can daily a $10,000 suspension system...
