I know there are ten million posts of folks looking for advice on a lift kit, and I am sorry. My truck is not really a hobby for me, my knowledge is limited. There is 300-500 pounds of stuff in the bed at all times, and I regularly load it down with a few hundred pounds more. It does not go "wheeling" but I am driving really rough roads and trails in the PNW. Looking for a 2" lift and get rid of the sag, I want some rake back. I am looking at the following kit with the heavy duty leaf and 887 springs.

    https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/p402/Coil/Bilstein_5100_Kit_w/_Dakars_(HS16BK-1-Dakar).html

Do I need or should I get the new UCAs?
is the 887 the right spring? (No after market bumper and winch)
Is this going to be a decent ride?
    What is ballpark for install?

Biggest question... Does anyone know a good shop in the Portland area?

I would get ucas for that much height I believe the 887s are about 2.25-2.5in. It will get you the best alignment given the skill of the tech doing it. They are a softer coil so the ride will be pleasant up front. The HDs out back will be really stiff till they settle some or have a constant load on them.

Get new UCA, you won't regret it. Good luck.

From what I’ve read on here, lots are running the 887s with stock uca.

Anything approaching close to or above 2.5" it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to get UCAs. Save yourself some money and learn a few things. Get some local members together, some pizza and beer and have an install day.

Running 888s on stock UCAs and just finished up alignment yesterday morning.
Just to mix in some real world reviews instead of everyone "hearing about needing UCAs with 887s and 888s."

Don't get me wrong, I will be moving to aftermarket UCAs when I bump the front up another half inch and slap on 285/75/17s (34s) but until then, I think my alignment seems fine.
