    Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone can suggest a good lift kit, I'm thinking 4" or 6"?
    Btw I have a 4x2

    If you are a prerunner 6 lug I'd definitely look into Maxtrac spindles, they'll give you 4" without messing with the geometry. You can even continue to run your stock struts. Later if you decide you want more lift or if you want more than 4" you can pair them with something like Bilstein 5100's & gain up to 2.5" more.
    @HeadStrong Off-Road has the best prices, I think you can get the 4" kit for under $700 & the 6.5 kit for under $900.

    oh well neither of us was wrong i haven't bought anything from her yet but have talked to her a couple of times when i get ready for uca's and a ubolt flip i'm calling her first thanks for doing that but i haven;t seen any response from the op maybe asleep

    nathan when you hit quote it'll bring the poster's quote into the message block where you type your response under it just as i'm doing now then it will alert them they have been quoted and come back

    Scratch the spindle Idea then, they only work for 6 lug. I'm not very familiar with the 5 lugs but you may still be able to do the Bilsteins & get a 2.5" lift. I think the best thing would be to call Marie at Headstrong, she'll know more about 5 lugs or maybe someone with one will chime in.

    Got a lot of stuff lol
    Pretty much the only ways to lift a gen 2 is by spacers or a mid travel set up. Spacer max lift is like 2.75 inches. There's some suspension threads in 5 lug forms that have plenty of pictures and information.
