I have time off coming up here in a couple of weeks and I need some advice. I have a couple thousand saved up and want to do something that will change my life. Should I Go to Hawaii or should I buy and install a nice lift on my pickup? If I go to Hawaii, I'll be going by my self and having a personal adventure. But if I get the lift kit I will have a whole week to install it and take it out in the woods and test it out.
    What should I do?

    Update:
My company is paying for the flight so now I can do both. The new questions is, spend a bunch of money at Hawaii, or buy a spendy lift

Hawaii. How many chances will you have to go ? You can save again for a nice kit, but the chance to go and have fun. Put me on a plane please.

Been to Hawaii. It's beautiful. I loved it for one week. Upgraded my suspension. Have enjoyed it ever since and plan to for a long time. Truck gets my vote.

Hawaii - a different perspective on places and people is always good for the soul. Lift will come anyways someday.

Hawaii. Its good to see the world and experience new things. Go on adventures and get some stories that you get to tell for a long time.
Go to Maui. Less crowds and beautiful beaches.

Hawaii and get a fishing guide, and rent a 4x4 for some trail adventures there!

@jamesrenoallen Go to Kauai Hawaii! You will not regret it. It has an awesome "local" vibe and is nowhere as touristy as some other locations. Additionally, they have beautiful rainforrests that you can zipline and tube through the exotic rivers. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Go to Hawaii! You probably won't be telling your kids about a lift you put on a truck way back when. Also, they love Yota's over there!

    Lift. Play. Repeat.

Those islands aren't going anywhere. Your truck is wearing out as we speak.

You can't replace a lifetime experience.... alone, going somewhere YOU want to go without baggage or attachments. A lift kit is just a machine enhancement.....You'll drive that thing everyday when you come back from the trip. You can save again for those parts.
I'd hit up some of the 808 (Hawaii) members here for some advice too if you decide to go on that trip. Maybe even get out on a 4x4 adventure while you're there with them!

Hawaii, and meet up with one of the local TWers and have them drive you around on some of the trails.

if its a good lift and you still got your man card you better tell your kids about a lift you installed....

I say lift...like it was said the islands arent going anywhere but your Tacoma is wearing out as you contemplate going to Hawaii... Plus with a lift you can go on many adventures 4x4'n not just one week to Hawaii....
