I have a pro comp 3 inch lift kit for my double cab, the one that comes with new springs and shocks in the front and blocks in the rear. This one: http://www.procompusa.com/suspensio...1808&pqq=2281-2282-2283&pqa=13490-16751-13394 4 months after installing the kit, my truck is still not sitting level. The front is raised an inch taller than the rear. I have a buddy with the exact same truck and exact same lift kit, but his sits level. The only difference between our trucks that I can think of that might affect this is that I have had my leaf springs replaced under the recall and he has not.

After talking for Pro Comp for a while, sending them all kinds of pictures and measurements, they could not figure out what the problem is and offered to let me return the shocks in exchange for a spacer kit for the front. I am not a fan of the spacer kit and didn't want to go through the trouble of taking the front shocks that I just installed, so I decided to just keep it. Anyone else have any advice or experienced similar problems? I think I will end up just swapping the blocks they gave me with blocks that are an inch thicker to level out the truck.

Whats the measurement up front from center of hub to bottom of fender? That will tell you about how much lift your front has to narrow it down to just a rear spring issue.

    Procomp site sucks.[edited]

Maybe it's a similar issue to people putting the spring perch upside down on bilstein 5100s

The front is 24.25 inches from center of hub to fender and the rear is right around 23.25. When I was emailing pro comp they told me common ride heights are 23.25 to 23.5 inches from the center of the hub to the fender, so it seems like the problem has the be with the front. I actually did take a quick measurement at the stock height since pro comp recommended it in their install instructions, and the front was at 20.25 inches before installing the lift. So, the front was lifted 4 inches instead of 3. When I was compressing the spring to get it on the shock during install it did seem abnormally difficult to compress, but then again I have heard that the pro comp lifts are usually stiff

pretty sure the spring perch is the right way. I compared it with my buddys truck. Spent a lot of time comparing mine to his and couldn't find any differences besides the ride height. I will definitely double check that tomorrow though

yeah taking it to get aligned was one of the first things i did after installing it. Stock control arms and it was supposed to be a 3" but it ended up raising the front 4" haha. I've put around 4000-5000 miles on the truck since the lift kit install hoping the front would settle over time as the spring is broken in but its staying put lol

How many leafs do you have in your leaf pack? I had mine replaced under the recall and they gave me a pack with an extra leaf than what I had before. You could've gotten less or your buddies truck may have more :notsure:

If your front is higher why not raise the rear instead of lowering the front to level out?

Omg are you driving that piece of fuck on the highway?!? :bananadead:

That's gotta be the sketchiest alignment sheet I've ever seen lol.

I'm saving that gem for the "my alignment is perfect with stock UCA's" crowd

cant recall the exact number of leafs off the top of my head but I do have an extra leaf after the recall. I noticed that when comparing the two trucks. I mentioned getting bigger blocks in my original post. As long as I installed the lift right i cant see any reason there would be problems raising the rear and calling it a day. I have driven 5000 miles with the lift so I think if something was critically wrong, I would have noticed by now lol. I will definitely double check the front again though to make sure its good
