Hey yall, wanting to lift and level my Tacoma a little. I have a camper shell and a little setup in the back so let's say 400 ish pounds in the rear. Going to add rock sliders and a CBI hidden winch setup. Thinking of going with icon 1.5 in add a leaf and a spacer that will give me an inch upfront. Thoughts?

Do the Icon 3 leaf AAL in the back and add Bilstein 5100's. In the front set them at the 1.1" clip. You can add stiffer springs to the fronts (when you get a winch) or use the stock springs with the 5100's. Not sure if you need 5100's in the rear for the length with the AAL lift... check into that. I have 5100's on all 4 corners with the set up below. . This is how it sits with about 600 pounds of gear vs. no gear.Desert Taco.jpg Idaho Truck 2.jpg .

I’d go headstrong add a leaf. No cutting, factory threaded hole for e brake.
Much better newer design that the add a leafs on the market that are all rebranded

There is a thread about it on tacomaworld

I have the Headstrong AAL + .5” spacer up front (which = 1” lift) and I’m super happy with it all. Rides just as nice as factory before the lift. The no-cut Headstrong is nice and easy to install too, and with my camper shell and some gear in the back, I ended up with a 1” lift all the way around (with my factory overload leaves removed) and I maintained the factory rake of about 1”, which was important to me because I wanted to be able to really load the back up and not have squatty bro lean.
