    Hello all,

I'm shopping around on Wheeler's for a basic lift kit and before I buy I'd like someone to review my shopping cart and help me out if i'm missing anything. Any advice would be appreciated. fwiw I've read numerous threads here and I believe I've gathered enough to settle on the configuration, but if anyone can point out (from experience) why I should choose something different please let me know.

    Current cart:

    Bilstein 5100 Front strut set
    OME 2885 front coil set
    Bilstein Rear Shock set
    Wheeler's 1.5" add-a-leaf set

    Also considering (if needed):

    Toytec Diff Drop Kit
    OME leaf trim packer

Will I have any need for a sway bar relocate kit and/or a rear brake extension bracket? I see that the toytec ultimate lift kit includes these.

Are there any negative effects of such a kit that I might experience post lift (i.e., driveline vibes, UCA rubbing/bad angles, etc.)?

Also, for reference I'm adding all this to a stock 2012 DCLB w/ TRD Sport configuration.

Thanks in advance for any and all input!

Aftermarket UCAs are a good idea if you plan on setting your front billies at 2.5" or higher. Also, most on here will say that the diff drop kit does more harm than good.

Don't need the diff drop it can cause more harm than good. You will not need a sway bar relocate kit with this set up. Vibes are common and every vehicle experiences different ones. What setting are you setting the 5100's at? The will help with any other specifics

get a toytec 1/4in top plate spacer for lean correction.

No need for rear brake lines... the 5100's used in the rear offer no extra droop over the stock TRD shocks. but they are much better valved.

No need for the diff drop, but you might need the ECGS front diff bushing.

As far as the swaybar, you will not need the relocation bracket.... but just do yourself a favor, REMOVE THE SWAY BAR. the truck is going to ride so much better with out it.

Thanks for the quick replies and info. That is why I love this site!

I'm only looking for a moderate lift, and will likely run the 5100's at a lower setting. Are saying my stock UCAs will be sufficient up to 2.5"? I may end up replacing them at a later time, but I'd rather not do it now unless its recommended with this setup.

Stock UCAs should be good for up to 2.5" of lift. Most people say the 5100s are too hard anyway when lifting more than 1.5"

    that depends on coils.

With the 885's your going to be setting it at 0 or .85 setting as you should already be getting some lift with the 885 coils if im not mistaken.

You might consider 3 degree shims for the rear axles. Much easier to do them at the same time as the AAL.

3 inch lift with Toytec Boss and All Pro UCA's up front. AP expedition leafs with Bilstien 5100 shocks in the back. 255/85/16 Cooper S/T Max tires. All Pro skids, rear bumper and sliders, Hidden winch mount with XRC 8000 winch. Dual Optima batteries with IBS combiner/isolator and solar. CMC. Auto sliding rear window mod, hidden CB, CVJ axles and plenty of other little mods.
Might want to consider dropping the carrier bearing.

If you end up with the vibes, and you may not, worry about it then. May take sn ECGS bushing, may take a carrier bearing drop, or any number of other things that may or may not fix it :)
