I’m wanting to lift my 23 Tacoma one inch in the rear and then lift enough in the front to level the truck out. Would Bilstein 6112s or 5100s be better?
Should I get new UCAs and coils? Also wanting to do AAL and not blocks.

    Thanks!

Budget and use will help us.

Just a leveling, use the 5100's and add-a-leaf. 2 and 1 is perfect. No need for arm. Even the TRD lift kit doesn't need upper arms. 5100's are good off road, but a little firm.

For decent off roading, service roads etc. 6112 is the best choice. Easily my favorite. They would benefit from upper arms more, but its still not 100% needed unless maxing out the lift.

I had 6112’s (on a 2nd Gen) set at a mild lift, no UCA needed.

With 1" in the rear, you will have to lift the front 2" to be level. Personally I love my Biltsein 5100's and could only imagine the 6112s would be even better.

I found the OEM Bilsteins were just fine for light off roading, but the 5100s are beefier and add the lift. And more importantly, get rid of the OEM brake dive.

Also as per Bilstein recommendations, I used the stock springs. I also did not see a need to replace the UCAs, and still dont...

BUT! I'm going 255/80/17 pizza cutters, not 275 or 285. Too much of a pain in the ass.

I’m running 6112’s and 5160’s with custom springs up front with a custom leaf pack lifted at around 2.5 with a tiny bit of rake UCA was not needed in my case. Custom springs up front allow me to run the 6112”s on the bottom clip.
