Aloha all Tacoma lovers, I'm wanting to lift my truck 3 inches, and thinking of spacers and blocks for the cheaper way, I will most likely be driving Work to home and rarely off roading, will it be a smooth ride?? Or should I get new shocks with add a leafs ( pro comp )?? For more $$$

Debadged, rebadged black, TW sticker :D, bed lights, rod holders, OEM roof rack, Complete OME lift, bed lined fenders. Armor Tech Off road wrap around HC rear bumper w/ tire carrier swing out. Relentless front aluminum bumper. Le Devil Horns (_)
The ride will be a bit stiffer than normal actually. At least that was my experience when I did that with my 2008 pre runner.

I did it right with my 2010 and replaced the entire suspension with OME. Much better ride, a bit stiffer but it feels better and different.

Just save up over time, man. When you've made up your mind to lift your truck I know how "desperate" you get to want to do it do it.

Just be patient and save up money over time to do it right. :)

Buuuuuuddy at the end of the day it's your truck and your money so do what pleases you. :D

^^ this is some great advice. OP do what you want, but saving for a OME kit is a great idea.

Different goals for different folks/uses. Since yours is looks only, cheap would seem right, but it isn't. You still drive it, and ride and handling still matter.

Also you'll learn that lift / tires can create new maintenance issues. Is it worth that to you for a lift that is for looks only?

I vote do it once, do it right. It will save you a do over.
