new, none yet, going to lift it, and get wheels and tires, small dent in tailgate
Ok, its been talked about a lot on here, I know. Be kind to me. Bought my wife a 2014 Tacoma 4x4 double cab. She wants it lifted, and wants new wheels and bigger tires. We see other Tacos, and she is right, they look great. She doesn't want any cutting of the vehicle, except mudflaps are fair game if necessary. We look at other Tacos, and she wants black wheels, that's easy, tire brand is easy, which lift kit and how high, and how big of a tire are the questions. Pro comp, Rev tech, RCD, 3" lift? 4.5" lift? 17" tires to avoid problems, how big of a tire? I know its been discussed a lot, but I need the whole deal laid out....she will be driving 95% on road. Its for looks, in fact the fake bead lock Raceline or similar wheels are fine, and tires are easy, like I said. Thanks for being kind and patient. She wanted a truck over any car....gotta love that. We have an 82 Toyo 4x4 R-22 with 230k miles on it, and a 96 4 runner with 240k, and a 90 Supra. We like Toyotas !

I will change the shocks too, stock ones aren't that great. Bilsteins come on the TRD, which seem fine to put on this truck , any other recommendations?

3in lift, 5100s front and rear, OME 887 springs 2in aal, 285 75 16 Duratracs, mb 352 black wheels, white sport grill, derp'd lower valance, derp'd front toyota emblem white, tinted windows, tinted tail lights, trd shorty antenna, trd hitch cover, trd valve stem caps, trd neoprene covers, trd all weather floor mats, kenwood double din, stampede window visors, flyzeye interior leds, anytime fog light mod, flashlight mod, kool vue intake, LED dome light, Lund bug shield, TRD shift knob, front mud flaps removed, Debadged, truxedo roll up bed cover, led fog light bulbs, led parking light bulbs, led dtrls bulbs, led headlight bulbs, led back up light bulbs, led license plate bulbs, tinted license plate covers, 18" magnaflow muffler, 32in ebay, light bar, coverking neoprene resr seat cover, oem trd skid plate, trd decal on center caps, oem trd exhaust tip, blacked out pinch welds, color matched mirror covers.
I'd suggest a 3in lift with 275 70 17 tires you might even get away with leaving the mud flaps on 17in wheels with 4.5in back spacing

This exactly. Except if you want mud tires go with a 265/70/17, all terrains you could get away with 275/70/17. If you want a true 33 you could run a 255/80/17. For a lift I suggest OME front to back. 885s w/dakars in the rear.
