Hey all, so I'm currently sitting on a level kit with 235/75r/15's and thought to myself, what would it take, to lift this 4 banger 6" off the ground? Is it possible to use a 6" kit on a 4cylinder? Is gear changing involved? If so, what difference does this gear change make. I've come to the conclusion that I'll probably have this truck for a long while, and thought about the things I could do to it, to make it more "me". Any suggestions would def be good. Thanks to everybody that chimes in!

as long as you have a pre runner or 4x4 you can lift 6''
if you have a 5 lug i think you're SOL
you can do a body lift - nit reccomneded
drop bracket lift - either 4.5'' and do a 1.5'' suspension lift
or a 6'' drop bracket lift.
or a 3'' suspension, 3'' body lift - not recommended.

Any other suggestions to get the truck a little higher? Will bigger tires make any sort of difference?

You'll probably run into clearance issues if you put a larger tire on, i'm not really sure what options you have as a 5 lugger.

I've heard nothing but problems with body lifts. It sucks having a 4 banger 5 lug. I was told I can get 31's with the level kit I have now, but I'd like to go a little bit higher to stand out.

Anybody know if a -27.00mm offset on rims will do anything?
