You can get the 3 inch leveling kits for like 250 bux or installed with bilsteins for 650 at the right shop

If you get the spacers and blocks your going to lose all ride quality and going to hate it. You can get 5100s all around for maybe $450. An all and your at $500.

Just the shocks and reuse your stock coils.

You make a valid point but I've done the research and on the leveling kit it lifts the truck and takes the stock mounts for the shocks and just raises them keeping stock ride quality and they have lifetime warranties. If you get the leveling kit with the bilsteins it all comes as a package installed out the door for 575 at ORW

Actually a spacer would decrease his down travel and could cause the shock to fail. So the stock shocks with the spacer will bottom out way before he would if he had 5100s with his stock coils. Spacers are cheap for a reason. Would you rather spend $450 and install the new shocks and aal yourself or potentially have a spacer installed by a shock to fail on you and cause major damage to your front end.

Idk what his budget is exactly if he's looking for a cheap lift you get what you paid for but from my research I've found out the leveling kit keeps the stock ride nice and just lifts it a couple inches with AAL in the back. I went from wanting something like that to going to a MT set up and actually spending the 3k on a nice lift that will do well in the dirt. Personally if he's on a tight budget I'd say go for the leveling kit it's not a bad deal or set up but I'd recommend spending the money on the bilsteins

I have an MT setup as well. But for his needs and not offroading then the 5100's are his best bet. He can get the spacers and waste the $300 to find out he should have gotten the 5100's to begin with.

I feel the same way the 5100 is a nice way to fully adjust to whatever he wants I just threw the cheap idea out there in case he doesn't have alot of funds and because I did the research for a while and found the set up with a set of bilsteins on all corners for 575 if he needs it to be cheap but still look good with normal ride quality but I highly recommend the 5100s if he's got the money
