So I ordered some 5100s for up front. Seems I'll need uca's a differential drop, sway bar relocation brackets is this correct? Then the rear I'll probably do a 2" aal. Will I need a carrier bearing drop? What else will I need? Has anyone done a 3 inch body lift and required longer brake lines or anything?

Needs depend on how high you are lifting. If you are going 2” in the front as well, you will not need UCAs. If going much higher you likely will. Diff drops are also usually not run. The factory TRD Pro runs a 1.75” front lift and has stock UCAs, no diff drop and no sway bar relocation.

I would highly advise against a 3” body lift for so many reasons.

It would be better to understand the big picture of your build goal for us to better offer advice. How much lift are you looking to have total and what size tires are you looking to run?

    Workin progress...
My 5100’s are set at 2” and I’m running stock everything up front for about 2 years now with no problems. I haven’t found a need to really upgrade anything up front due to the lift.

You will probably need a CB drop and/or axle shims. Adding a degree of shim per inch of lift is a good place to start. Then measure your driveline angles and fine tune at the carrier bearing as needed.

I'm thinking of doing the 2.5 on the 5100's so I'm assuming then I'll need the uca's and diff drop. The option is there it's hard not to use it

Did drop in front is not needed or recommended. Axle shims in back and Cb drop Sure. From what I've read and done

You’ll want the UCAs then. Light Racing is a popular and affordable brand that retains the OEM style ball joint.

Why the desire for a 3” body lift? What size tires are you wanting to run.

Well the body lift only reason really is to go anywhere past 3 inches of suspension on these things I have to refinance my house. I mean even a 2 inch. Tires probably 32 or 33 I'm not an offroader just want a new look. Its been stock since i bought it new in 08. So I plan on holding on to it for a while, might as well make it look better
