I just don't like anything rubbing, yes you can clear whatever you want being lower and yes for some reason folks on this forum HATE a drop bracket lift. Not 100% sure why, but that is there opinion and what they prefer. I did 6 honestly because it was the same exact price as the 4 inch lift. So what was the hurt with two more inches of lift? Pick your poison bud. Mine rides fine, handles great and does exactly what I need to do. Go Tacoma

Depends if you tow, want a different ride I guess, I see alot of folks going with aftermarket rear springs, I went with the add a leaf and ride right air bags cause I tent to haul my huge cooler/ surf rod rack on the rear and it's pretty heavy.

Follow your heart and lift it the way YOU want it haha. If you go 6” get a 6” rear leafs, don't settle for blocks.

The OME setup seems legit. Hope to get close to 3 out of it. Torn between not adding the light racing uca. Hear mixed reviews with it needing it or not

I’ve heard they’re just bad news, heard of blocks falling out while driving/wheeling and that ain’t good. Don’t go cheap and do it right the first time. But if have to, do what you gotta do.

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
The reason most people on here hate DB, is because it does not improve the suspension performance and can cause premature failure of front shocks and leaf pack. Also you can clear 33's on a stock suspension if you trim right. I drove my truck home with 285/75 r16s on stock suspension the day before I put my 3in lift on my truck, with minimal rubbing. With the lift now I have only trimmed the lower corner of front fender flairs, cab mont chop and flattened the pinch weld. All of that can be done in half a day or while installing a lift. That little bit of work out weights the cost and poor performance of DB lift, for most people.

With a drop bracket lift you will never be able to stuff your suspension properly to see what your clearance are like, so you can adjust for them.

I bet I have been places that would cause you to rip that DB cross member off.

You can do offroading on a 6" lift. I requires a whole lot more dedication though since most of the "offroad parts" are not off the shelve.

There are very limited shock options for example and a skid is a complete custom gig......

My DB goes further than most the people I wheel with.....

I bet you would be more satisfied with the OME set up. You will get a smother ride and you gain better ground clearances with it also. All you really change with a DB lift is change your brake over angle.

If I go with the 6in RC what's the part number to put the 5100s in the back instead?
