I wouldn’t go 1.5, you will run with a negative offset and there are not any reputable spacer manufacturers with a 1.5”, someone correct me if I’m wrong.

I would only consider spacers from spidertrax or bora. Considering the shop sold you a rough country suspension, I would suspect the spacers they put on are gonna be no name Chinese garbage. When I say garbage, that is the last thing you want holding your wheels on your vehicle.

If you need to go the spacer route, I would go no larger than 1 inch, meaning I would get bora spacers, which will essentially sit you flush at zero offset, which gives you the best chance of not rubbing. If you really want to solve this right away the best way also would be to step down a tire size. I’d push back on the shop that told you it would not rub, if they can’t fix it on their own dime force them to buy your tires back and give you something better.

OP, a 1/2 inch quality spacer you mentioned is all you need to get the tire away from the upper control arm. You don't need another lift or new UCAs at this point. Address the wheels coming out a little, re balance the tires to address the shake, but you need to determine if its the front tires or the rears. Is it the steering wheel shacking or do you feel it in the seat. May be a needle bearing issue. The 285s will work as many have done this set up before, so a little research will help. The lift is ok, I don't know anything wrong with RC other than people on TW don't like it, but run them until there is a problem. Look at other alignment specs as a base for someone who can correct your alignment. A CMC is not really needed at this point from what I see. You have some minor issues that a good off road shop can fix in a few hours.

I did 5100s set on the top setting and a 1 inch rear block, a ECGS clamshell bushing to replace the needle bearing since the front end was apart as added insurance for any vibrations, added a front diff drop and a rear carrier drop to keep the drive line in spec, added some Sumo bump stops and the ride is perfect for me. No shake or vibrations at all. I then added 285/70/17s Toyo Open Country AT3s on 4Runner Pro SEMA wheels with a plus 4 offset and a great alignment. No rubbing at all, I even have the factory mud guards. I run a light SL rated tire on light OEM wheels, a great KDMAX tune and an inline speedometer calibration. I got it dialed in perfect and its going on close to 5 years and almost 25k miles on my truck. So yes it can be done and a little research and a quality shop helps. Good luck to you.
