20170108_160340_HDR.jpgThis is the truck currently. I have a 3" spacer lift up front and 2" blocks in the rear with BFG 265/75/r16 Ko2's. (Possibly 33's in the future) Stock length shocks all the way around. Looking to upgrade the lift due to the fact my front yr old monroe shocks are wearing out. Sound squishy. If I upgrade to a better shock will that help? I'd like to either stay at 3" or go alittle higher and definitely dont want to go lower. Was thinking of a 1" body lift. But going up another inch will I start running into problems with brakelines and other components?

Well judging that I'm using a spacer lift and blocks now, cheapest but also safest route would be good LOL! I'd say between $400-800.

Put on some Bistein 5100s, will work with your lift and it's a nice shock

Aesthetics. The only type of "wheeling" I do is when I go out in the desert to go shooting. I don't romp on the truck at all.

Just the shocks? All the way around? Will they cause any issues with the spacer, or should I take the spacers out? Sry kinda new to lifting things lol

5100s is my vote + new leaf pack in the rear and forget the 1" body lift and scrap the blocks. Best look without compromising too much ride quality

Will the 5100s keep it at 3" or raise it more?

I think you should ditch the spacers with the front 5100 you can get 2.5 inches and your not compressing the coil or losing travel like you would with a spacer. Just do some research man:) there tons of posts on here with all the info you need. Good luck!

search this forum for the 5100's. There are probably 100 threads on them.

The 5100's are adjustable, but put them at their highest mark (a diff drop spacer kit for the front if you have 4x4), then AAL and shackles in the rear to level it out (you'll need a brake line extension, too).
get rid of the blocks and spacers.

The 5100's are $300 (last I looked) including a TW member discount from DownSouthMotorSports.com.
    AAL's are $60-$100ish; shackles $50ish; diff drop $40 (i.e. All Pro), brake line (i.e. $40 All Pro),

    more like thousands.

aal alone will suffice for rear. preferably a multileaf one.
brake line isnt really required with just 5100s.

    I was being nice... :)

With 3" of lift?? I'd put one in... For mall crawling you're *probably* fine, but the OP did say he takes it off-road to go shooting, so I'd put one in to be safe. Easily worth the $30, imo.

Buy some 5100's and set them to the highest setting for the front you'll need a new leaf pack for the rear if you don't want to use the blocks, the 5100's shoulder be used with spacers,

Infact using spacers with a shock that lifts your truck is a big no no!!

not really the amount of lift. just the 5100s themselves will be the limiting droop factor and will work with factory hose. BUT i agree 100% for the $30-50 its cheap insurance.

I ran the same spacer and block set up for about 1.5 years. I just did a OME lift with dakars in the rear and 5100s with 881 coils up front, had to put a 3/8" spacer on the drivers side to get rid of drivers lean. It gave me about 3/4" more loft than the spacers right away and settled perfect. Great lift for about 800$

Ok so I just got back from a local offroad shop in town and they said the 3" spacers would be fine with the 5100s set at the lowest setting?? (Anyone chime in on that?)They quoted me $800 OTD for front and rear 5100s, labor, and alignment. Yikes!.... sounds a little steep to me.

do it yourself with the help of the info on here and save $400.

I recommend getting rid of the spacers all together. with that budget id get the 5100s and ome coils. Your leafs look like theyve still got some life left in them so a multileaf aal should work nicely.

OR. blocks in rear will suffice for now and you can save for a full leaf pack later on.
