    I would like to start a poll to see who has replaced their UCAs with their lift. I am going to order the Toytec 3 inch lift with the 885s but don't really want to spend the $600 on new UCAs if not needed. I don't know how to turn this into a poll but would like the following categories in the poll.

    1 Replaced the UCA's with the lift
    2 Didn't replace and don't have any issues
    3 Replaced because I had issues after the lift
    4 Going to replace in the future

    I was certain you could do it by editing the original message, but I just went to the test area and can't seem to make it work. Just re-post the thread as a new thread, I guess.

    At the bottom, in the "Additional options" section it will have a box for "make this a poll"

    I replaced mine with my lift (Total Chaos) but my 285s still rub the UCAs when fully turned backing up. However, I'm running on stock rims.

    positive. It's not the normal "rubbing" that most experience. It's more of a "resistance" to turning. Plus, I see rub marks on the UCA. And it sucks too because it's rubbed off some of the TC sticker! :)

    But I have plenty or clearance from the cab mount and the front inner fender.

    I've thought of that, but so many people have said "spacers" are BAD... Are they ok to a point (like 1/4" or something) then they are too wide or what?

    I have the Bilstein 5100s set at 2.5". The camber on the wheels is slightly off. I can see it when looking at the truck head on. However, it doesn't affect driving too much (though some have complained it did on theirs).

    I'm getting the Toytec Bilstein coilovers and the Light Racing UCAs ($449 from Toytec) installed this weekend along with some new wheels.:)

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    I ran my lift for a few weeks before installing my TC UCA's. I was pounding my Upper ball joints into oblivion when off roading, and the steering wander sucked. After I got my TC UCA's, all was nice! :D

    so do you think it's okay to wait a little bit to get the new UCA's or would you suggest installing the lift and UCA's at the same time? it's a lot of money and i don't know if i want to spend that much all at once.

    i would rather wait and save up the money from my job, instead of spending a ton of my scholarship money...but if i really need to get them right away then i guess i can.
