    I just get the appointment, they said if its 3 inches or less ,doesn't afect the warranty :bowdown:

    The e brake cable wasn't much of an issuse in the 2nd gens, since the 3rd gen already is 1 inch higher than its earlier brother. The brake cable comes into play in locking up the rear end brakes.
    The brake cable has a bracket that holds it to the leaf pack. With the 2 inch block, you raised the bracket, therefore stretching the cable. Bend the brackets to allow for slack.

    Also, just a PSA, but if you have aftermarket leafs, specifically Dakars, check your ebrake cables where they cross the leaf retaining straps. Mine were rubbing on both sides enough to gouge the rubber pretty good and they have only been on 5k miles. I don't see that you can do much about it unless you modify where the cable mounts. I put some fuel line around the line to pad the wear area.

    An update:
    Out of the dealer ,they found nothing wrong with the brakes or the truck in general,any suggestion for a shop to install the 2 inch blocks for the back? Thanks
