    I have a 2017 OR and Im about to put a lift consisting of;
    5100's
    Ome 887 spring
    Full Dakars
    And light racing UCA's

    Wheels are scs Stealth 6's in 16" 3.5 offset
    Tires 285 75 16 Mickey Thompson atz p3

    Question is will I need to chop anything substantial? Not worried about fender liners.

    I won't be wheeling or really doing any heavy offroading. From those with experience, please let me know your thoughts. I realize all trucks are different but does this setup generally require the knife?

    I would say it really depends on how you setup the UCA's. The more negative Castor you add the closer the tires will be to the cab mounts.

    Guy at scs wheels said I'll have to do a "body mount mod" but I can't find any info on 3rd gens doing this. I really don't want to cut out metal. I see people running 285 s on their 3rd gens here so I'm a little confused.

    Most running 285s either put up with rubbing or do a cab mount chop.
