hey everyone, i am brand new to this site, but not new to loving tacomas. i have wanted a 4x4 sr5 v6 tacoma for 8 years and i finally got it! and now i want to put a little bit of a lift on it but don't really know where to start. let me give y'all a idea of what I'm looking for and maybe y'all could give me a little input/suggestions...ok

i don't really want anything to big, pretty much just want to raise it up and little bit and level it out some. i was thing maybe a 3'' lift would be enough? what do y'all think? anyone have any pics of a truck with a 3" lift.

excited to become a member of this forum, i love my tacoma and know you guys do to!

    Welcome to TW.
OME makes great products designed and tested on our trucks. Great ride on & off road. I got 3" front & rear so I kept stock rake & had room for 33" tires.
Your's is a 1st Gen so I won't bother telling you what I have on mine, but you wanted pics.

3 inch revtek in coil spacer, all pro bumper, smittybuilt 8000 winch, 265/75/17 BFG AT, cookie monster stuffed animal in bumper... UPDATE 10/17/12.... OME886 Coil lift with spacer. UPDATE 9/6/13..... Plasti dipped 17inch eagle alloy wheels. 285/70/17 Goodyear Duratracs, 6 bulb rigid industries LED D2 lights
On my 1st gen I've got a coil spacer lift I bought off eBay a few years back. Came with AALs for the rear and a drop kit for the diff. Cost like $190 I think. It was a no name brand but Ive never had any problems with it. Add a custom tube 20 min build front bumper and a champion 10k winch to the front and it dropped the front end maybe 1/2 inch. I would just research lifts for your truck and see which one fits your likings the most.
