Will OME885X coils with bilsteins 5100's work without new UCA's. Want to install them but want to know if this will be fine on my truck. Thanks Tacomaworld!

I have 885's and I just put new UCA's on my truck yesterday. Before the UCA's my caster was .9* "maxed out." Now I'm at 2.7*. Seems to drive the same but stearing feels very solid. Seems to be hit or miss if you need them or not.

Just an update. Well finished installing lift and just got done with my alignment at the dealer. I have to say, that it rides really good and didn't need UCA's yet.

"needing" uca's is driver's preference.... its up to u if u can live with the lower caster numbers or if u want the factory numbers.

That would be camber, not caster.

what were you setting the coil at? 0 or .85? your mod list aready stated 0, are you going higher? i assume so.
just curious, looking to do the same, but i may wait and put new ucas in at the same time instead of having to deal with the lift twice.
    intend on doing it myself.

Peter may be right. I just installed mine last weekend, and its not much of a job. Not sure what they have in FL, but here we have a shucks oreilly auto parts, and they loan tools for free..just give them the deposit.

..tell ya what..you buy my plane ticket to FL and I'll help ya out. :D I'm tired of this rain!
