Would this lift setup bring about a happy consensus, for an extra $676.54 that would include purchasing freedom UCA's and a differential drop kit, would you all recommend buying top hat kit as well? which would be an additional $78.

I’ve never heard of freedom UCA I would op into getting some Spc upper control arms for like $695ish before tax.

on that note, will 295's fit well or would you all recommend 285? that would be on 16 wheel

Nothing wrong with Freedom Off-road UCA. The quality is fine, they just can’t be rebuilt like other brands. You don’t need a differential drop for 3” or less. In fact, it kinda defeats the purpose of a lift in that it doesn’t give the higher ground clearance. Not sure about the top hat honestly.

If you plan on using stock wheel 295 might be a little too wide. Which will run into the tire rubbing the upper arms because of the offset. You might need some wheels spacers. But I’d say just pick your tires (poison) and work with what you got. You will be happy with some nice looking 295s :transformer:

I was looking at the OME UCA's but they say only up to 2 inches, whereas the freedoms say 2-4 inches and then I just came across the JBA STA High Caster UCA that say they are most compatible with tacos up to 4 inches.

    lmao
Rough Country kits (brackets, spindles & such) are made right here in the USofA. Some of their shocks come from China, however my experience says their shocks (the N3 anyway) are still much better than most anything you can buy at, say, O'Reillys or Autozone.

OP, since you have a 2WD, I would suggest a simple spindle lift, and then build on top of that
    https://www.extremeterrain.com/max-...t-w-max-trac-shocks-0519-2wd-6lug-tacoma.html
This keeps your suspension's factory geometry (and ride quality) intact. You can still add a better set of shocks/coilovers and rear leaf springs to it as you desire.

Also no front differential on a 2WD. I would suggest becoming familiar with your rig before you dive too deep into this (not trying to cut you down... I simply say that because being familiar with your rig will help you in spotting any fitment issues with whatever kit you decide to buy, and also of course when it comes time to install it).

    Hope that helps

Well I definitely feel a lot better with all the positive feedback on the OME setup, especially as its not that much more for a higher quality lift!

Yep they are made here in USA. I went with the rear leaf springs no blocks. I went with the premium shocks I almost got their vertex but I wasn’t sure if this was the lift for me. I may do a larger one due to I want to run 24’s and with 24’s a 35” is like a rubber band for a tire. But for now I want to see how I like what I have. I settled on my wheels due to me being impatient because kg1 would have to make a set due to Toyotas hub bore and there wasn’t a set of jtx that I liked enough for the toyota. BCR had a few styles I liked but again wait time. So I’m running 20x10 bc forged on 33x12.5r20. I
