16" wheels on 265/75/16 revo 2s, Tow package
I have a 2009 access cab tacoma, I have added the towing package(minus-larger alternator and battery). I added 265/75/16 revo 2s on TRD 16" rims. I would like to lift it slightly(maybe around 1.75-2.0").

I am a complete noob when it comes to this stuff and do not want to get taken for a ride at an offroad shop. This truck was completely factory when I bought it certified from the dealership. Can someone tell me what I need exactly for an all inclusive lift kit? I tow a boat(2000lbs), maybe once a month. I have heard a lot about Blisteins 5100s and eibach springs, do I need front and back 5100s? I am pretty lost. However, I am an engineer(chemical) and I did stay in a holiday inn express recently, should I attempt this myself?

Thanks for your help in advance!

I would say order Bilstein 5100's for the front and back. Then get eibach coils. Set the front 5100's @ 0 and the eibach springs will give you maybe 1.5-2" of lift in the front! Then just order a 1" block to lift the rear. If your not doing crazy offroad and want a good ride on road, this setup will be pretty nice and well priced!

    Redtacoma88,

A couple questions, do I need 4 eibach springs, or just for the front two-& what specification coils do I need to order? and what kind of 1" blocks should I order for the rear? Thanks again for your help. I would hate to ask for it, but if you have part numbers that would be super frosty.
