Lil b custom hybrid front bumper,
5EB384A1-E70B-463D-B371-7F576DD1BCA5.jpg How y’all doing, been lurking for a while and finally got around to actually making an account. Wanted to get suggestions and personal reviews for affordable lift kits(non spacer). As well as daily driving with lift/bigger tires.
And if re-gearing to the 5.29 is necessary.

Thanks, I was wanting to do 2-3 inch lift and intended use is everyday driving, weekend warrior stuff but nothing too extreme. At least not yet.

I'd look at either Bilstein 5100s and an add a leaf for the rear lift, Old Man Emu kits, or maybe Bilstein 6112s/5160s and a progressive add a leaf depending on your price range and whether or not you want adjustability without having to buy new front springs. Take a look around online and see if any of those 3 suit your liking.

If you think you may get a little rougher down the road check out King, ADS, or Icon and a new leaf pack.

For any of these if you lift more than about an inch or so I'd think about getting longer brake lines. If you go with the Kings, Icons or ADS the extended lines are a must because the shocks extend the travel of your suspension.

As far as the oversized tires go I can't help you too much with that, I have a 2nd gen 6 speed manual. But I am running 305/70R16s (33"x12.2") with a cab mount chop and fender trimming as well as plastic trimming and some sledgehammering and my truck turns them fine. A tad slower than stock and longer braking distances but that's alright with me.

Welcome to TW! Regearing really isn't necessary unless you plan to run 35"+ tires.

Yeah but definitely suggest reading through the hundreds of threads covering exactly this question. I’d guess there are hundreds that use their trucks exactly like you plan to. You can do that by utilizing the search bar at the top right. The button is shaped like a magnifying glass.
