I don't know if it is a North Florida backwoods redneck look, but seems that ass draggers are all the rage. I have noticed these more and more and saw my first 3rd gen Tacoma that looked like they lifted the front 3" and lowered the rear. I hope this isn't the corona virus of trucks and it will catch on.

For those that haven't seen it, it looks like this (unfortunately I was too dumbfounded to get a pic of the Tacoma)

Its a southern street truck thing. It wont make its way here because we bully anyone who doesnt conform to fox/icon/king 2-3 inch lift with M/T tires and blacked out chrome.

It’s called the CAROLINA squat! I’ve also seen it done in conjunction with widely offset, low profile wheels designed to catch all the concrete bollards & curbs.
Fools quickly separated from their money!

Carolina squat is old hat. The new hotness is the brodozer, with the thin-walled knobby tires on deep dish rims that extend about a foot beyond the fender line. I'm honestly not sure whats worse.
I dont know who those people are, or what kinds of good lives they lead, but I hate them nonetheless.

    Lol.
Every place in every state does this.

it’s not just a SoCal “909er” look. It’s not just the “Carolina Squat” or the Florida “backwoods redneck look”

    People do this everywhere.

I could be wrong, but im pretty sure it comes from LT / trophy trucks, and the way they look.

Definitely not having a state inspection in Fla allows for some of the most ridiculous trash to be on the road. It is really an extension of the trash inside.

The joke around here is we need a good hard freeze to keep the mosquitos in check and thin out the vagrants.

We haven’t had vehicle inspection in South Carolina for nearly 30 years and when you get out of the major cities it is easy to spot the results. Things like no hoods, home made seats made of wood, seatbelts made of rope, etc.
