Been reading a bit and not able to find exactly what I'm looking for.

Currently running a ReadyLift system, which was dealer installed when I bought the truck . Having no issues but I just want to make a slight upgrade to the actual suspension.

    Screenshot_20171229-130042.jpg

I drive on the road 95% of the time, and the only "offroad" I do is loging roads to go hunting. The most weight I carry in the bed is a dirt bike.

So would I be able to just simply swap out the rears keeping the blocks for the lift. And for the front, put in 5100s with the 2.5" preset notch, stock springs and forget about the spacer? Leaving the dif droppers and sway bar attachments?

    Currently running 275/70/R17 as well.

Trucks gonna ride rough as hell with the spacers and 5100s set at 2.5”. I wouldn’t do it.

If you pull the front spacers and ise just the 5100s for front lift it will work, you also can leave the blocks and add 5100s in the rear. If i May suggest though, you can swap the blocks out for and add a leaf for like 100$ and it will be a much better overall lift kit

Makes sense. I think I'm going to do exactly that. Thanks!

I think the plan is to get 5100s all around with OME 2885s up front and Tough Country AAL 82855 (2" of lift) in the rear.

Front lift will go front 3" to 2.5" and rear will stay at 2". I'm assuming the ride quality will be significantly improved.

Don't get 885's, you will be lucky if you get 1.25" after they settle. 887's would be closer to 2" on your 3rd gen.

And I guess that would make it so you don't have to move the snap ring up on the bilstein? I'm not overly concerned about only having 2" up front as well, just as long as my 275/70/17s will still fit properly.

They would be fine at 1". https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/s...-__Various_Lift_Heights_Available_(PAIR).html Click the link on this page to get their coil lift chart. It will answer questions on height.

I have OME 887s onBilstein 5100s in the front set to zero and I'm running 315/70r17 (lots of cutting involved to fit these tires) so 275/70r17 should fit with no rubbing at all.

This is false. They “recommend” the zero setting but can be run at the .85” setting with zero issues for a small increase of lift.

You can get more lift with the different settings on the 5100's, just know that the higher you go, the harsher the ride will be. You may not notice a difference in ride quality between the first 2 notches, and its not hard to change back if you want to so I'd say to go with the amount of lift you want and see how it feels.

There are 3 ways I am thinking about going for suspension upgrades increasing in cost...:p:

    1. 5100s all around w/ 887s keeping the rear 2" blocks
    2. 5100s all around w/ 887s with Tough Country 85255 AAL (adding 2")
    3. Or the full OMETAC16LKSB

2 Questions regarding the possible upgrades:

    1. Should I keep the Diff spacers and sway bar extenders installed from the ReadyLift regardless of which route I choose?
    2. Would I also need to buy new leaf spring clips if I run the AAL or will the stock ones work?

    Thanks for any advice!!!

AAL will probably ride better than blocks. I'd go with new leaf packs if you can afford it. You get what ypu pay for, just don't go with blocks, you'll regret it down the line.

Go all in! Diff drop does very little to improve drive axle angles on 2nd and 3rd gens. Won't really hurt tho unless you go with aftermarket skids.
