Thanks OZ-T. I saw the PDF, but didn't scroll down enough to see the reset without the tester. ;)

This looks super simple... I will test and report back tonight.

Late response sorry... So, I did the reset and it did help. The truck is now only marginally more sensitive than stock. Before the reset it seemed unsafely sensitive.

PDF sounds great but does not change anything for most of us who have wasted the time and money to have it done.
Still need the outside modification from someone willing to try the engineering of it. Something that replicates the VSC button while the ignition is turned on.

I hope someone will post the method here.
    Thanks,

Does holding the vsc button for 3 seconds make a sound to tell you the traction control is off ? I tried it (no sound or flashing light ect.) . I was on dry roads and went a block so I couldn't test it :(

You have to be completely stopped in order to completely disable VSC.

Even then it is not completely disabled , but the sensitivity is reduced dramatically

I wouldn't worry about it. I lifted my truck and it drives like stock. It's perfect to be honest but I wanna go taller. DB lift coming soon.

You sure? I've done all sorts of horrible things with it completely disabled - no traction control, no stability control - doughnut city, truck never once tried to stop the horror/awesomeness.

Seriously. I'm 99.9999999999% sure it was completely off - I'd be curious what piece of it is still on...?

Just to be clear... stop completely. Hold VSC button for 3 seconds. Within the first second it turns off traction control, then within 3 seconds everything turns off and it's fun time. Start driving in circles.

Do any of these issues transfer into 4wd mode? Does it affect ATRAC operation?

    Good luck!:)
    We've been around this before.
Has not done anything for most on this list as far as stoping there VSC from kicking in.
I did it through the dealership. VSC still kicking in.

I've seen you say this before. Do you have any docs on this, or just experience? I haven't really messed with VSC off in the dirt.
