Ok so I've needed new suspension on my tacoma for quite awhile now, and I have priced out all the stuff I need from rockauto.com and it comes to about 630 bucks. I decided to see if I can find a lift with new shocks and struts for a reasonable price and I found one. It's a 3 inch lift with shocks and struts from fatbobsgarage.com. Only about 450. Comes with rear blocks and u bolts, new front and rear procomp shocks, and coil spring spacers. Looks to be to good to be true. I don't need the diff drop cuz I'm a prerunner, and I guess I'll just hav to buy new coil springs separately. Has anybody seen this lift? Am I getting scammed? Do I need brake line extensions? Just some advice is appreciated.

Can you post a link to the lift from fat bobs? I have a 3" revtek lift that sounds like the same thing but i would suggest not getting it because my truck rides horrible....

To my understanding, the diff drop is to help reduce the angle that a lift puts the CV's at; wouldn't this be just as applicable for a Prerunner?

Looks like the front struts also don't include the coil spring seat. But I can just reuse the old seats off my trd shocks, right?

Bilstein 5100's at Wheeler Offroad come to $330, and no spacer is needed. You can use add a leaf in the rear for $77 more.

Dont, just don't. They aren't pro-comp btw, they are their in house brand. (Made for fat bobs garage)

But it's a complete piece of shit suspension setup. I have it currently (for 20k miles, installed by them) , and it sucks a bag of dicks.

Puck spacers are "great in theory", but completely fucked up my spring rate, and caused tire cupping. Hopefully you don't like your tires you have ATM...

Also, the last bit that pissed me off, is they know the hosing for brakes is too short, yet they don't include a replacement...

OP - We have a lot of options available. Spacers, and blocks certainly work, but you will find that most people don't recommend that setup.

Well I need to replace my leafs, shocks and struts, and coil springs. If anybody knows of a decent lift kit with these replacement parts and everything I need for the lift (if i need brake line extensions etc) for around 800 bucks I'm all ears. My stock height replacement suspension is going to be about 630 bucks so I'm willing to spend up to about 800 bucks on a lift if it replaces all my parts

Call Wheelers. When I did my lift I searched forum for weeks trying to learn everything I could. Once I knew every piece of the suspension figured out, guess what? Wheelers already sells it all as a package (OME 882s, Dakars, D6XL AAL, OME shackles, rear brake extension, exhuast hander extension, Nitrocharger shocks, trim packer, etc). Plus I needed to add an additional 3/8 top plate spacer to balance the front end after I had everything installed and Wheelers really came through helping me with an issue I had with my strut studs. They know the parts that they sell and when we talked they never pushed an item or the sell.

So I talked to YotaDan at wheelers and looks like I'll be going with them sometime soon. Getting caught up on some maintaince and tires and truetrac. What would be better to run for leaf packs? OME dakars or wheelers 5 leaf? I'm trying to keep cost down and OME are a little cheaper it looks like and they sit higher. The lift is already gonna come to $1000 bucks before shipping

Grey wire mod, eibach, 5100's & 5125's, ome Dakar leafs, 1.25 rear shackle, Gibson exhaust, ram air intake, throttle body spacer, boot slide mod, poly bushing kit, extended brake lines.
I love my dakars if that helps get about 3" in the rear ride nice and handlebars well imo I carry about 500rpm pounds of stuff in my bed almost every day for work and get minimal sag.
