I'm sure this has been touched on in some kind of thread but I am thinking about buying the rough country 4 inch suspension lift for my truck. Anyone out there that does a decent amount of off roading have anything to say about this kit?

I offroad a decent amount and see a lot of others on the trail with broken RC shocks, spacers etc.

    Don't buy Junk Country

I agree. Low quality harsh ride. Personally, I think it's a waste of money. Old man emu or bilsteins are a much better way to go. And the avoid spacers if you can.

    I'll be that guy.....

if youre "sure this has been covered in another thread"

then why not just search for said thread?

    but since you didnt.......

a 4" Rough Country assuming youre getting SKU: 746.20 is almost $1,100.... for that price, you can get a good quality Old Man Emu kit (or save some money and get Bilstein)

hit up Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road I be she can get you squared away with a better lift and cheaper than that $1,100 mark.

I'd echo what the others have said... I've got a 6" Tough Country lift (bought it this way back in 2010) and My ride has been so rough/stiff... Hopefully will upgrade my shocks etc to coilovers with Resi's. I'd definitely suggest OME.
