Thanks, will try this again. My Ryobi was starting to strip the head so I quit early on. Might also grab a bottle of PB blaster & Marvel Mystery Oil tomorrow. Never hurts to have extra oils on hand.

If you strip it an easy-out might work. Worst case scenario just cut the head of the screw off and drill out the remains. Someone earlier in the thread used a Allen screw as a replacement and they listed a size

That’s the method I went with... it just strips the screw out “Extra Fast”! Lol
I ended up using vise-grips to clamp the screw and give it a “quick jolt“. Constant pressure lets the vise-grips slowly just peel the metal off the screw, but if you clamp the vise-grips nice and tight, and give them a “quick jolt”, the screw will be more likely to break loose. Using this little trick will come in handy for many hard to remove bolts. Good luck

Damn, well you could cut a slot across the head and then use a large flat head screwdriver to remove it

Sorry for the late reply. What works for me most of the time is AeroKroil Penetrating Oil and let it soak for few minutes. Then take a #3 Phillips head bit with an impact driver and it’ll break loose.

    Mahalos!

Hey, sorry for the late reply. Been dealing with moving lately. Unfortunately I don't have much left in stock and am in process up changing up my design/mnufacturing process of the cradles. I no longer will be hand making these

What about a version with a little lip that hooks on to the right side of the gas cover? Give it a little more rigidity.
