I'm not installing and yes I got the master kit. Some how it shipped without one of the bearings.

Going on next week. Killing me because I'm curious how much lift the 888 with ome shocks are going to give. Does not seem to be any real confirmed numbers here yet. Majority of 888 people have 5100's instead. Thought the lift was a big decision, tire size and choice has been stressful! Fingers crossed 285/70/17 ko2's fit. 2 guys at work are running them with level kits with no rubbing.

Around 3". I've been on OME for 6-8 months. Think I'm one of the first to run a full OME lift on a 16

What size? Anything over a 32" will rub if you actually use the truck. I've ran 5 different sizes and have a good idea of what works and what doesn't at this point. Lol

It doesn't hold 6th gear long. Slightest hill and it's down into 5th which is marginally useful, 4th is much stronger.

That's the #1 reason I didn't go with ome... to many options/unknowns for me. For the guy that knows exactly what he wants I'm sure they're great but not for me.

Just going up the tire size 265/70/17 I haven't done better than 16.5 average. I'll get a couple trips where I'm in the 20's but tank average no better than 16.5. I'm sure it will drop more once I get the lift too.

I bet its those M/T you got. All terrains might bump it back up into a normal MPG range.

A couple people following this thread had been messaging me asking if I could post a side shot of the truck in the day time to see what the bronze looked like on quicksand tan. So here is it

I wanna run 285/70/17 on my pro. it's probably gonna rub. Wondering if I can just swap out to a bigger coil up front for lift or spacer lift. Maybe swap out the suspension if needed. my buddy has offered to give me a brand-new rough country 6" lift if needed. 6" sounds nice cause I've never had a truck with more than a 3" lift. still undecided

seriously considering a 3" lift, what issues do I need to look out for?

Did you by chance go to a more agressive/heavier E Load rated tire?

Now with Softopper from 2012... wrinkled from cold and needs to be fitted better but like it more than the newer models because it's an inch taller.... and it was only $200 and looks new!
    IMG_0121.jpg
And never went with 285/75R16s because I have been working for more articulation and love my mpgs.
Bigger tires do look good, but I went more for Function-over-Fashion.

good call on the 265s... they look great. Nice truck. I dig the softtopper! wondering how one of those would hold up here in NH.. I dont know if i would ever buy one, do I think they look sweet.
