@Superjoe I see you have the gen 2 5100's with 888's and a full Dakar pack. this is the set up I am ordering but was planning on removing the 3rd leaf to soften up and lower the back end a tad. I assume yours has a slight rake to it, correct? I actually do still want just a touch of rake to mine as well.

This looks really nice. Can you elaborate on your setup?

EDIT: Nevermind, found your build thread. New question: How much lift did you end up with?

Yeah it has about 1" of rake with the full leaf pack so I would suggest leave it in and do the full pack. At first it appeared level to me from a couple angles and I really don't like that, especially not a negative rake. In the spring I plan on having a roof-top tent on it quite a bit so I'll probably get the AAL to compensate for all of my gear. Or SUMO springs. I don't have any complaints with the stiffness of the rear in particular. It's stiffer overall of course, but for what it all cost I'm happy. My FJ Cruiser had an Icon Stage 6 so I know what to work towards down the line :)

And I spent all of last Sunday putting it through it's paces in the desert. It did as good as I expected on the brutal roads out here. Not the cadillac that my FJ was, but I'm satisfied.

Maybe it is all in my head, but it seemed like it rode a bit better after and hour. Is there such a thing to breaking-in or warming-up a shock? I've never experienced such a thing and changed quite a few shocks in sporty cars before. The FJ suspension was used when I got it.

Man... this is gonna be a sad answer but here it goes...

I don't really know! Lol.. I just bought the truck yesterday with 3k miles and it already had it installed. The wheels are fuel and the tires are Bridgestone I believe. The sales guy was telling me that the tires alone are a good $1500 plus another $1500 on the wheels and lift kit possibly $2k somebody had bought it... used it for 3 months and returned for something with a lower payment... or some story. I just loved how it looked and the fact that everything was so brand new! Lol...

Sorry I don't have details on the setup lol

I finally mounted up my new wheels/tires last night.

Front is 2nd gen 5100's set at 0 with OME 887 spring's and SPC UCA's.

Rear is deaver AAL with standard 5100's

    Wheel's are Vision 398 Manx 17x8.5 0 offset 4.5 BS

    Tire's KO2's 275/70/17

Happy with the look so far , Think next will be a light bar behind the bumper, maybe some yellow fog's and a grill.

Looks good. Going with the same setup any rubbing. How long has your lift been on?

I'm betting it's terrible. I have a '17 DCLB OR and had the same lift installed at the dealership. Felt like a freaking wagon when hitting washed out sections of road. In fact the truck would not track straight and felt unplanted. I complained to the dealer and they gave me the money back. The OR trucks have progressive coils and the spacer lifts overspring the truck. Soooo, I upgraded to Icons.
