Does anybody know what the difference is between the tuff country and rough country kits? I definitely want the better of the two not worried about the $250. But either one is just going to be the base kit I am going to upgrade shocks and possibly leaf pack and possibly coilovers.

Could be a loose bolt or you could be maxing out your stock UCA's if you still have them

my coilovers has two bottom spacers where the mounting bolt goes through, one spacer larger than the other. on my driver side they had it zipped tied together backwards and i just put it on without knowing. after hearing the clunking noise i went back through all the bolts and noticed it. the longer spacer belong in front, towards the front bumper. it may also come from your lower control arm bolts from when they did the alignment, sometimes they dont tighten them back up enough. i believe the torque spec on those are like 110ft/lb.

Looks like Fabtech will work with 17 wheels, but they want $2,100. Only thing I see extra for double the money is add a leaf. Seems like a lot of money for that. Could go with tuff or rough and spend the savings on some fox coilovers! What ya think??

Looks like Fabtech full kit comes with dirt logic coilovers and shocks for around $3,300. Not sure about dirt logic??

legal front window tint, not so on the rears..
Whatever you decide just stay far away from rough country..... you won't be happy. We will be redoing the rough country 6" lift with a pro comp 6" kit.But it's on a 2006 not on a 2016.Go with Fabtech,BDS or Pro Comp... you can thank me later.

Ok, thanks! Was set on the fox coilover BDS kit but they say their steering knuckle will not work with my 17 inch rims. Fabtech looks like a possibility although with their 6-inch kit only shows can use with 33 inch tires don't know why that is! So looks like might have to go against BDS's suggestion of not using a spider trax spacer with their lift. Or maybe go with tough country and then upgrade the rest of the suspension.

Could you tell me specifically what was wrong with their kit from rough country? Because I planned on not using the spacer blocks in the front or the back also changing out the shocks so mainly using the cross members and other brackets just for the base.

I traded my 2014 Ram 2500 in and couldn't be happier. I love being able to get around quick and nimble.

Ok so I finally got the 3" OME Lift on the truck. I myself didn't install the lift so if you have some specific technical questions I may not have the answers but another TW friend did, ask @DOUBLLD if you have any questions regarding install, etc... Wheels and Tires to come shortly and photos will follow. So far love the ride of this setup, little bit stiffer and a nice height and stance thus far. Can't wait to see what this build becomes over the next few months! Stay tuned.
