I have the toytec ultimate withe ome Dakar leafs. I measure before the lift from the ground to the fender and top of the bed. They all match up with the 27 inch measurement I just took from hub to fender, giving me about 6 inches of lift. Based off the base 21 too.

    QUOTE=Mainmoe02;7898129]What is your suspension setup?

Did you measure stock height from middle hub to fender lip?

I didn't measure before lifting but going off of what others have said... 21" is stock height from mid hub To fender lip up front and roughly 1 inch higher on the rear.

My hub to fender measurements are
    Front driver = 26"
    Front pass = 26.25"
    Rear driver = 26.5"
    Rear pass. = 26.5"

Based off these results I'm at around 5-5.25" lift up front &
4.5" of lift on the rear[/QUOTE]

That doesnt sound right. Eibach/5100 combo give 3-3.5" lift max. Are you a 4cyl?

They are 33s. I was saying that I only took ground to well and ground to top of bed before. And the after hub to well is almost 27. All three put me at about 6.

3" lift EIBACH coils w/ 5100's front, OME/ Dakar leaf springs w/ toytec adjustable shackles at 1.5" and 5125's out back. 33x10.5x15 KM2's Relentless DIY steel bumper.
    I'm a V6
I measured hub to fender all around. On the rear I have DAKARS + 1.5" lift shackles. On the rear I'm close to where I should be since the DAKARS give roughly 2.25-2.5" and the shackles added another 1.5"

As for the front I measure center of the hub to the bottom of the fender lip and I get 26" on both sides.

I'm second guessing the 21" is stock height?

    I'll go take a pic

And I made sure the "c" clip on the billies was set to the lowest notch because I did it myself. So that's not the issue

So after taking pics and re-measuring with a seamstress measuring rope I got better/ different numbers than I did with the yard stick

    New numbers...

    Driver front = 24 3/4"
    3upary6u_b274f8e393a568f62575e898100e8e05bdd89cea.jpg
    Pass front = 25"
    padapeju_532138fc041b5c7c64d0c2f1e677ab7e6fbc2617.jpg
    Driver rear = 25 3/8"
    evemyhe6_d6e26f4558a45edd6d007ed67ef3d263c3ca30c1.jpg
    Pass rear = 25 1/4"
    ypa2a4uj_1bcd66e79cd4b0c37f11ef02b43725641ec63fd7.jpg

I guess it still seems kinda high up front but I guess it's better than the 26" I was getting with the yard stick.

On the fronts….you do have the Eibach springs perched on the LOWEST 5100 setting!?!?!? I have zero experience with the Dakars so I can't offer any suggestions.

Edit: Just read ur post #428….. I'm out of suggestions. And after reading #430…. Ur #'s seem on target. Everything will settle down after a few hundo miles.

Toytec says stock is 22.5 so that puts me at 4.5. They said to take a leaf out and it should drop me 1.5. Anyone ever take out a leaf, I really don't want to pull these things out it was a huge pita to get them in.

I wouldn't mind that but here are some concerns:

The brake line and wires going to the diff are maxed out just sitting here. The shaft is at a bad angle and vibrates pretty bad.

I have ordered brake line. I know that I can lower the carrier and possible get wedges.

Is there anything else that I need to take care of with a 4.5? This is why I wanted a 2.5-3 inch so I didn't have all these issues.

Did you order the DAKARS with the AAL (d6xl)?

That could explain why there's so much lift

Nope, OME said it was common in my year(97) and that they recommend taking out a leaf, possibly two...." Not sure why they don't just send them the way they need to be to give the advertised 3 inch lift

Soooooo guess I'm off to figure out how to get a leaf out.......thanks for everyone's input

Working on it(is there a preferred method or just using washers)
    Will order
    Ordered

What about the wires going to the rear diff (I am guessing it's for engaging it)

    Thanks.
Yeah I went thru a few sets of voltage regulators already. Lol. Been there done that(had to split housings a couple times:/) Then my white ones went bad (half the halo burned out), got a whole new set, within a week later passenger side white failed again and said fuck it. Unplugged the other side. Then a while later the reflector inside the housing broke of the adjuster knob and is kinda just sitting in there. Now every good bump it jumps around. Ha. I am re-doing a whole new set of headlights with updated 6.0's and new amber rings too. And when I finally take my old set apart, see what's up with the white ones and may try re-using them. What a pain. Hopefully trs will still take care of me if I have any problems with the older stuff. They are really good with that tho.
