What's the backspace on these? I had the FN 5 stars in my 4runner but personally don't think 5 spokes look great on our tacomas. Big fan of six spokes though. Curious as to what the backspacing is, wheel size and if you have a spacer or not? Thanks in advance.

How's the turbo set up been working out for you long term? Have you had any issues with the manifolds?

 

had my first issue with them last month after 4 years of abuse. the flex pipe on crossover failed and i was getting some horrid turbo lag. original vbands popped right off (if you know where newfoundland is youd know thats amazingly lucky to not be siezed). happened to have a 2.5x4 flex joint laying around and i swapped it in. waiting on a roll of exhaust wrap before i put crossover back in. since its larger diameter pipe with no heatshield the floor gets quite toasty without any wrap.

Nice! That’s some pretty good longevity out of that setup. Looks like the new flex section should be more durable. I forget what you ended up using for injectors and tuning?? What kind of hp do you think your making at the wheels?

550cc china injectors, fic6, urd patch harness snowperformance stage 2 meth kit. aem 340 pump, innovative boost controller. at one point i ran it up to 15psi which was ridiculous but trans wasnt very happy ahaha. i keep it at about 8.5-9psi now. no idea on power. but those are 35x12.5s with stock 3.91 gears that it will do rolling burnouts into 2nd gear if that gives you an idea. thing makes gobs or torque like a diesel

 

That's awesome! Sounds like you have it running really well. Some 4.88 gears would be a nice addition. I noticed on my turbo 3rz that the truck spooled quicker with the lower gear ratio.

 

currently redoing the entire front suspension and going mid travel. after that gears will be next. talking to a guy about getting everything for a manual swap too.

How did you manage to install an intercooler?
95-97 there is zero room for an intercooler as the grill bumper is much shorter
I was looking at the rear mount option because an intercooler is not needed.
I’m Supercharged but always looking for other options

 

by removing the hood latch assembly (despite what some people keep saying my hood pins arent just for looks ahaha) and cutting a couple grill tabs off. had to relocate winch solenoid and other stuff too.

 

I think my AC condenser takes up most of that area on my truck tho
