This is my 2012 Tacoma with 14k miles. It has a 6" BDS suspension lift and 3' body lift. Tires add another "9 inches of lift. Wheels are Motto Metal 18x9. Tires are Nitto Terra Grappler G2 37x12.50. Custom Alcan leaf springs. Bushwacker fender flares. Gap guards. CRE mud flaps. This is a video of me walking around the truck https://youtu.be/RDQcOnbpd34

How do tires add 9 inches of lift? Do you mean they are 9" wider in diameter than stock? So they are 40" tires?

Damn! They don't even look like 40's since the truck is so lifted. Wow. Did you regear? The thing must have lost so much power. The largest tires I've seen on here before yours were 37's.

These are 37's. I compared the tires to the tires on my other Tacoma I use to plow with. I show it in the video at the top of the photo list.

    LOL

9" taller tires means 40" tires compared to the stock 31" tires. Also, 9" taller tires doesn't add 9" of ground clearance. It adds 4.5" since it spins around the hub.

    9+9=18 for one.
6+3+3=12" lift compared to stock is what you have. Still impressive.

I measured the tire on my old tacoma from the ground up and it was 27' tall. I did the same to the tires on the lifted tacoma and they were a little over 36". So that would bring the truck up an extra 9". Problem is I just remembered the tires on the old 2002 tacoma were smaller than the 2nd generation. So it is actually only 6-7 inches taller.

So you're comparing tires from a first gen that came with 28s stock (225/75/15) to your second gen? Interesting math.
Measure frame height and we'll tell you how much additional ground clearance you actually have.
