Finally was able to get the Daystar KT09120BK Comfort Ride Front and Rear Strut Spacer Kit installed.

Was really not as "easy" as the instructions explained, but installed nonetheless.

I had to full disconnect the sway bar to make room for strut to remove. then had to jack up lower control arm to reconnect ball joint. i just wish the instructions would have mentioned this to a novice mechanic, would have saved a bunch of head scratching.

for the rear, was not as bad as the front, but again, had to improvise. one side went in w/out issue, the other side managed to move the diff/rear axle and then had to remove shock in order to move back into position. after that was not too bad.

all in all i am very happy with the way it looks for around $140. cheapest mod i have done yet.

Have you noticed any issues since you have put it on? I am looking at this exact lift for my 2012 tacoma, no mods other than upsized tires. you opted out of the rear shock combo, any regrets there? Thanks for the info.

No regrets on this purchase and install. it has some vibrations i believe coming from the drivetrain, but that is normal i am reading. i will eventually like to save up enough to upgrade to 6" lift, but this was a good cheap alternative. i do recommend an alignment after installing of course.

How much lift did you get out of this kit?

it was just around 1.5 in the back and 2 in the front. my front dropped another 1/2" or more after due to the new bumper.
