Good lookin trucks, guys! If I could do it over again, I'd probably get an access cab. More storage space than an RC, but a full 6 foot bed is a must...And a DCLB gets hung up and has less payload than an AC.

Funny you say that, i was just about to post about how i should have gotten a DCSB. Bought mine a year before me and my GF has our little “accident” AKA my son. I was already balls deep in mods and trail scars. I’ll probably just end up cab swapping the thing

Well, either one is a bit more practical than my regular cab! Glad to have the long bed, maneuverability, breakover angle, and classic looks, but I could use a bit more storage in the cab...

I did 3rd with a toytec spacer on the driver side. Honestly I didn't measure before I did it i just wanted to keep the lift as minimal as possible while not rubbing on my 265/75/16 duratracs. At full lock or when fully compressed I'm still rubbing very slightly though. I would guess I got between 1.25 to 1.5" after they have settled.

Ran the OME 3" lift for years and loved it. I just finished the bulk of a SAS, fully 4 linked front and rear. Looking forward to a lot more fun!

I was still fabbing the tranny crossmember in this pic. You can see the clamp above it. That jack doesn't do much except lift under the axles anymore haha

    Is that ride height?

I’m slowly but surely getting parts together for my eventual SAS

I can hardly climb into mine as it is with only a 3 inch lift and you should hear the girlfriend bitch... ;)

Ride height is about 8"-10" lower. Still pretty high haha. I used axles out of a 2008 F250SD, running full width. If you want to go 4 link, Noah over at rockslayer offroad is the way to go. He sells a kit with all brackets, links, frame plates, shock towers, basically all the bits.

Yeah I don't think my girl and I had the same level of excitement about this build...

I don’t know if I have posted to this one yet, but lifted access cab fits the description for me.
