    yep..
Nice truck. The rear looks pretty high for just the stock 4 leaf pack. Is the tow package leaf pack different from the regular TSB 4 leaf?

side note, Berkshire Mall old Best Buy parking lot?

not sure why yours are touching like that with the 884 coils. I had 885s on my last Tacoma (4x4 access cab 4 banger) and they had a little more space between the fins. The re-clamp should take care of that though

The angle of the parking space might skew things a tad but those were the leaf springs it came with off the lot in 2006. It was still nose high about an inch and more so after the leaf recall...

Haha. you got it! They're "fixed now". Put some miles on and off road over the past 48 hrs and they havent moved. Dont see any cons to this method. Not sure why they were touching either, maybe just a manufacturing fluke. Maybe I would be one of the few that benefit from a diff drop? Whats your thoughts on that?

So, under your name it says Upstate NY. Where are you at? Did you used to live in Pittsfield?

I vote no on diff drop. Theres a few pics out there of people going offroading and cracking the diff cause its hanging lower. Also I would be worried bout oil starving it since it may put it at to much of an angle. For me I rather replace a CV boot after a 100k miles then the dif. My last truck the first one went at 120k I think and the second 130k from the boot wearing out. I could have gone farther I just decided to replace the whole thing right when I noticed they were leaking grease. Idk for me I just don't want to go through the hassle of putting it in, the risk of internal damage, external damage, and it could throw off your front driveshaft angle as well.
Probably right that it this one was just on the far side of the tolerance scale when they made it and that's why it was touching.

I'm right over the border in Stephentown NY. Probably in Pittsfield most weekends getting stuff and couple times during the week.

Sounds good, makes sense. I tend to want to fix things that don't need fixing.

Yeah, we're pretty close as the crow flies. I live by BCC. When I had a dirt bike, I used to ride over the mountain to the christmas tree farm in New Lebanon, and the trails into Stephentown. Nice area. Miss those days. A lot of those trails are overgrown from lack of use now. They blocked the entrance to West Mountain at the end of West Street 3-4 years ago which sucks for us in the neighborhood. However, it stopped all the trash dumping and gang activity up there.

We had to block a lot of the trails coming into our property. Lot of ppl came over the mountain from Averil Park that totally destroyed everything and left trash over the place. We opened it up for snowmobiles though. So you can ride into Pittsfield or up to Grafton state park.
I def miss having a four wheeler, probably get one next year again I think. but it’s crazy to see how fast everything grows back and the wild life moving back in
