3" OME lift with 885 coils on nitrocharger 90000 shocks with 5mm trim packer on driver's side, TC UCAs, Rear OME Dakar leafs with nitrocharger shocks, All-pro U-bolt flip kit and 3* Toytec shims, extended rear brakelines, 16" Raceline Rockcrusher 887 wheels with 3.6" backspacking, BFG KM2 305/70/16 tires, Doug Thorley header, Doug Thorley catback exhaust, Volant CAI with ram air, Weathertech floor mats, Kicker 12" sub, Kenwood 500W RMS amp, Relentless Fab front and rear bumpers, 4.88 gears, custom flatbed with swing out tire carrier
i would go 4.88s with 295s (most of u know i would say this :D)

my 4.88s at about 75 mph puts me at around 3k rpm (33" tire). may seem a little high but cruisin at 3k rpm isnt bad at all IMO for these trucks. i get the best gas mileage when im below 2800. so at 65-70 on the highway, gas mileage is plenty good.

i wouldnt worry about breaking the ring and pinion too much. these 4 bangers dont produce a lot of torque. ive been about as hard as i could be on them and they are good as new as far as i can tell.

NOW LETS TURN THIS BACK INTO A PICTURE THREAD!!!

thanks man i appreciate the info a lot. i'm definitely going to give him a call then to figure out what set-up is best for me.

i definitely want a rear arb air locker as well to go along with my gears. if i'm already going to be in there might as well go for it right lol.

i'm also going to have a shop do the instal for me i'm fairly mechanical but, i think this is out of my realm.

so nitro 4:88's front and rear and the arb air locker in the rear is the set-up i'm going for. i want onboard air and a locker and i'm pretty positive that the arb locker is the best choice but, i'm not sure about that either what about mech lockers?

I don't have a lift yet, but I did just get a set of wheels, and tires.
I bought a set of Ion 179 in Matte Black. (new)
I picked up a set (of 5) factory take offs from a local classified ad, 255/75/17 from a Jeep guy! Tires have 11km on them. I am into the whole setup for $1100. Wheels arrive next week, so I'll post pics later of them mounted. Just teasers for now.....

^^^^ that's a 32" tire. You are going to have some rubbing unless you decide to go with a lift.

Great find though. Those BFG M/T originals are hard to come by. Many people prefer them over the new BFG KM2s.

    .
    Thanks!!

I purchased it in Canada from an importer. I already had a few lined up in the US, but when I found this one, I snapped it up. It only had a few thousand miles on it, and the price was right. That first picture is at the dealership when I picked it up (in Winnipeg)

Yes, this is what I've been told. I doubt any rubbing will occur with my driving style.

Without digging everything out I would guess less than 3000. That includes a couple of alignments and an UCA install. My alignment guy gave me a good deal to install them for me so I went ahead and had him do it. You have to do some shopping though and look for deals. I spent a lot of time searching the internet and ended up saving a ton of money. There are other set-ups you can go with that are described on this site that would be cheaper.

I don't drive it too much. I have been driving an accord to work recently so not sure on the mileage. Noise definitely went up. My truck was pretty loud anyway though. As far as handling goes, it is WAY taller now so it does handle different, but not necessarily bad.
