I did not use a diff drop, from what I've read it doesn't sound to be worth it. Plus then I'd be losing some of the clearance that I just worked so hard to get. Needle bearing fix looks pretty simple and its only $135 for the whole kit. It isn't a huge vibration but why not fix it right? ;)

Looks good. Not every lifted taco has to look like its ready for a damn warzone. Capable but practical

    Love those wheels!

Got a set on my first gen. I have mixed emotions because it is awesome to see more tacos with these wheels but sad because mine are less of a rarity nowadays :/ haha

I am old, chronologically...........see how long it took to reply? :D Every time I think I want a shell I think of having to haul some shit that wouldn't fit and it kinda defeating the purpose of having a truck to begin with. And the truck tent and Xsporter racks would be rendered useless. I'll just get some AT tires for the RAV4 and pretend it is a truck with a shell. Seriously, have thought of some NTGs on the RAV4 tho....betting the wife would love that, lol, right after I told her that the homelink mirror, oem mudflaps, LED lighting, tailpipe tip & vent guards was ALL I was gonna do to it......

I've been lurking on TW for a looong time, and particularly on this thread, which has been the inspiration for my build. I had to go inexpensive, so this is as low-cost as you can get. She was bone-stock when I got her. She's got a Supreme-Suspensions 3" Leveling Lift Kit with BFG AT KO 265/75R/16E tires. I will try and attach pics below, but this being my first post, we'll see if I'm successful or not. -Gearmaster

Gearmaster, did you put in any additional hardware into your bumper to help mount your fogs? Ive got myself a set, and popped them in where i removed the plastic blank but they didnt feel very secure. I havent wired them yet so they havent been aimed so I cant tell if theyre moving from bumps, etc.

Yotabilly, as SingleCabGuy replied, they are n-Fab nerf bar steps that bolted directly to the frame.

Joey, I popped the fog lamps in just like you, and I also haven't wired them-in yet. They seem very secure, although I did climb up behind them as best I could with a headlamp and stretched the clips to make sure they made positive engagement of the fog lamp housings.

You can stuff a small piece of foam between housing and bumper with a screwdriver to keep them from twitching............preferably on top or bottom so it doesn't spread the bumper any where the ears of housing pop into bumper.

Did you make sure to snap the third part in? There are the two knubs on either side that it pivots around and the third on bottom that is used to adjust the aim. Make sure that bottom one is fully seated, mine took a good snap to get them it and then they felt super secure.

I got mine lifted today (with the help of Millertime187 and MossyTaco). I went with OME 884x coil springs(5mm trim packer on driver's side) with no top plate spacers, diff drop, 2" AAL, and Bilstein 5100s. Toytec sent the wrong rear shocks so I have the stock rear shocks for now.
The measurements before the lift ( from the ground to the fenders) with these wheels and tires were 35"-front and 36 7/8-rear both sides. The measurements after were 38 1/2- right, front and 38 1/4 left, front and 39 1/2" for the rear (both sides).
