I’ve been reading this thread for some time to see what I should do to my truck. Bought this truck a year ago for a good deal but had to put about $2500 into it to make it perfect. I wanna lift it next for sure

Great looking truck! Have you been looking at any lift in particular? What kind of driving do you do?

So I've been scouring the internet to see what would be the best bang for my buck in lifting. I don't want to cheap out and get spacers to lift it but I also cant afford getting a full suspension lift atm. I want to either level the truck or lift it 2", I'm not quite sure yet. I live in SoCal so I usually just drive on pavement but I go up to the snow quite often and do camping on the coast while looking for surf with my wife.

I also plan to move back to Kauai in the next year or two so I will be doing lots of sand and mud running

Id suggest saving up for a 2.5” coilover and shock package personally. The ride is very smooth and you can get them in a custom tune for AccuTune. I’m born and raised on Maui and the bigger shocks make it more comfortable getting around and off-road it’s much more controlled. But if you want to keep it budget friendly I’d look at bilstein packages. I don’t suggest spacers or blocks, if you run a bilstein 5100 or their larger diameter shocks you’ll gain off road performance however the ride will be significantly more harsh on the street. I’ve had a few different set ups and currently I’m on kings, just had them re tuned by AccuTune and have not had seat time with the truck due to being stationed in the states 7E3F936B-E1D1-4FC0-A0EC-D037A7054A9E.jpg

Love this! I’m new to Tacomaworld but I’m trying to do something like this to my 2007 single cab. Any pointers on where to start. This is what I’m working with. Picked it up last week and did a few mods but really want it beef it up and take it off-road
