Just looked through this entire thread and noticed that none have rock sliders on them. Anybody got pics of a reg cab with sliders, preferably with kickouts?

I will have sliders soon. Anyone with a regular cab, that has sliders, probably had them custom made. For production style sliders, Relentless has one of the best designs and they have a kick out.

Relentless Fab - the very first regular cab sliders with what eric is now calling the "2 piece" optional kickout style.

Is the kickout just for looks or better protection?

Damn this thread...it's seriously making me want to trade my V6 AC for a reg cab. There are three things I do not like about my truck; automatic trans (mine has that horribly annoying "transmission lag" that is the subject of many threads), drive line vibes post lift and gas mileage. All three of those issues would be solved with a reg cab. It doesn't hurt that they just look more badass too...

A litttle more space when passing an obstacle.

Nah. My lifted reg cab has vibes and bad gas mileage.

    It is badass tho.

I thought that because they have a one piece drive shaft the vibes wouldn't be an issue. I'm sure you still get better gas mileage than I do.

Only "mods" I've done are remove the pinstriping, mud flaps and trim the exhaust just behind the axle. Planning on Bilstein 5100's very soon.

Yes, that is a picture of my sliders, before Eric shipped 'em to me. EDIT: I don't remember how much they weighed, though. Less than a hundred lbs for the pair, for sure.

Mike it's all your fault. I saw your truck last weekend at Senoritas in Clark and damn it looks like I'm getting the itch again. Got the Bilsteins set at .85" to level it out but now I'm thinking about lifting it.
