    Yea I guess working at the dealer you get to see all the issues there is with that particular make, in the aftermarket we get to see everything that happens to every make after they get out of warranty.

    I have this noise as well, I think it is pretty common noise (heard this noise before from tacomas with less than 70kmiles) but not really any cause for concern. I wanna say it sounds like a minor exhaust leak, but not bad enough to cause any real issues with the truck. If it ain't broken don't fix it, but if it is broken time to upgrade IMO :), been eyeing some doug thorley shorty headers as they are CARB legal and I live in cali :(.

    Same thing with my 15

    Got it with 25k miles and it had the tick, at 120k still has it. Really only noticeable when not in gear like you've mentioned.
