Went from 215 75 to 235 75 on OE 15" wheels. Gained 1" real ground clearance.

My '13 only has 32k. But its an access cab, so while not interesting to you, I love it. Does all I want and more.

I'm not sure I would just use shackles to lift the rear end 3". That's a lot for just a shackle. There is an ideal relationship between the length of the leafs, and the position/length of the shackles. You essentially want the shackle to be at about a 45 degree back angle at ride height. If you make it too long, which makes the shackle more vertical, you risk doing weird things like inverting the shackle when the suspension articulates.

As for new shocks, yeah, you'd definitely want new shocks when you lift it.

    OME and worth every penny.
Long ago there was talk of long shackles on hot rods as dangerous and leading to loss of control when they inverted.
I never gave it much thought until an interest in truck lifts was established and idea was revisited.
Really, old timers blamed high speed accidents on shackles a LOT. I suppose a swerve was what was being discussed.

U can leave rear stock after the 3 inch spindles in the front and itll be level. If u want rake like stock then do the 2 inch shackles and the 3 inch spindles. Ive got 235s too on the stock 15s and they've done well too as mentioned

Aal is known to be too stiff for 5 lugs unless u tow alot or use toppers. Kyb is a good cheap option for shocks on Amazon

So I got a base unmolested reg cab. Thinking it's time to lift it after 5 years of DD it bone stock and just feeling like an old man.
