    Details and timeline of events:
    -2018 OR 2WD
-Installed Bilstein 5100's, OME 887 coils, headstrong aal, JBA UCA's myself. Gave me around 2.5" of lift from stock.
-Drove it for 2 weeks, to let the lift settle before I got a full alignment (i adjusted toe myself, just so the truck was driveable for 2 weeks)
-At this point, I had no error codes at all. This is "proof" that I didn't pinch/break abs lines, blow any fuses, or break any sensors. I've also checked fuses, they all look good, and properly connected.
-After 2 weeks or driving, took it in for a professional alignment. Immediately after the alignment was done, the "vehicle stability control" and "collision avoidance" errors popped up. It's been 3 weeks, and I still have the errors.

Initially I found this thread and thought the fix would be easy: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ibrate-your-vsc-computer-the-easy-way.467485/

Attempted these steps several times, didn't work. I assume they only work for 2nd gens, and the steps will not work for 3rd gens. After searching alot more, seems like SOME 3rd gen owners have experienced the exact same issue I have, but not all. For the lifted 3rd gen owners that have had this problem, the only fix I've seen posted is to have the dealership do a "steering yaw re-calibration". Ok fine, went to the dealership this morning, and the tech immediately told me "they can do the re-calibration, but ONLY for trucks at stock height". I pressed the issue, and they simply were unwilling to do the re-calibration on a lifted truck. The guy pointed me to 4wheelparts (located in Forth Worth, local for me). I called them, and the guy acted like I was crazy. He said they've lifted tons of 3rd gens, and have never heard of this issue. He said they could still take a look, but they're booked up 1 week out.

    Questions:
    1. How many 3rd gens are seeing this VCS issue after installing a lift? Seems like it's rare, am I just that unlucky?
    2. Has anyone figured out the "steering YAW re-calibration" steps for a 3rd gen? (2nd gen instructions do NOT work)
    3. Pending an answer of "No" to #2, I'm all ears for any solution that has worked for anyone else. If the only solution is "dealership", then I guess I'll keep trying different ones until I can find one that will agree to do the re-calibration.

I wait to see what 4wheelparts has to say and then go from there.

Yeah, downloaded Techstream, reset my codes, and that's all it took. I had the option to do the re-calibration, but I didn't need to. I'm guessing the alignment shop tripped a sensor/error while they were doing an alignment, and the code just stayed stuck until I reset it. 4 weeks later, errors haven't popped back up.
