After a bit or research and lifting my 2nd gen a few years back I am ready to lift my 3rd gen and stuck on on part, specifically the rear lift part.

    Truck - 2021 TRD Sport 4x4 DCLB
    • No front bumper or winch
    • No rear weight (tent, topper, bumper)
    • I plan to run 33" tires on 0 offset too.
    Front setup plan:
    • No front bumper or winch
    • Bilstein 6112s set to 1.4" (the new ones with more clip settings)
    • Both set to same clip setting, using 1/4" plate to accommodate 'taco lean' on drivers side
    • Wheelers Bump Stops
    • I have the sway bar drop kit if needed
    • I have UCAs too, I know they aren't needed but the OEM UCAs are not great
Any issues with running a spacer on the drivers side to accommodate taco lean? I didn't want to preload the springs more to keep the ride quality the same, likely not a big deal, but the coil overs are already assembled, so I am going this way, curious if anyone else has done this rather than having different clip settings for each side.

    Rear setup plan:
    • Bilstein 5160s
    • Wheelers U Bolt flip kit
    • Wheelers Bump Stops
    • Non-TSB Leafs
    • ICON AAL
    • Extended Brake Lines
Stock I have about 3/4 to 1 inch of rake front to back, and I like that, so with 1.4" lift up front, and 1.5" AAL in the rear, I should maintain that rake and just take both ends up. Question is that I would like to leave the overload spring in place (I will sometimes carry heavy loads - home renovations...), so should I take out the smallest AAL spring and just run 2 of the 3 AALs? The ICON instructions say to remove the overload spring, lots of discussion about keeping it or not, and if you are going for 2" of lift leaving it seems to be the best, but if I am going for 1" to 1.5" and leaving the overload in, I need less AALs.

    Thoughts?

Agreeing with you. My 5160s came with a block you add that gives a little more slack to the rear brake line. Haven't had any issues with mine, and when I'm unloaded I've pretty much got like a 6 inch lift in the rear, lol.

Too late for that, already installed, I went with steel braided lines and getting them extended was a free benefit at that point. I always upgrade rotors, pads, lines, and fluid with all my cars.

Also... what are NON-TSB leaf springs? I thought those were only the OEM leaf springs from 2011 or earlier? TSB leaf springs, that I'm aware of, became standard on 2012 and up trucks?? I had the TSB done on my 2011 to go from 2 leaf + overload to the 3 leaf + overload.

Still thinking about my 2006 Tacoma, it never got the TSB done. Ignore that on my 2021.
