I'm not a huge fan of builds like this, but I have to say you did a real clean job, the truck looks great.

Thanks for the compliments gusy. Even those not a fan (49erfan :)). As far as performance it is a little sluggish compared to stock but not bad at all. I am checking the gas mileage now. First tank of gas run through it.

Virginia bound, truth is that it was the only 6 inch lift available for my truck. I've called every manufacturer and every installer and this was the only one.

Is your truck 4 x 4? Mine is 2 Will Dr. which is why this was the only option that I had for a 6 inch lift. I could have done a shorter list of some sort and on the body left but this was the route I chose in the end. Came out just the way I wanted it to. Nice-looking truck though.

Could have done 3" spindle and 3" CO lift and end up with same amount of lift but 6" more ground clearance up front

Thanks 49er. Normally I would agree with you. I'm not a fan of the gals. Are used to do custom painting and always paint it on anything I wanted done. But that was Motorcycl's and smaller items. Don't have the ability to do that on my vehicle.
And Devinn, to be honest I just was never offered that option. I don't know all of the inns and outs of what can be done on these things. And the clearance is not really a big deal. It is not an off-road machine

Spindles are also $1500 and require uniball UCA's

Well, to be fair, this freaking fab tech lift cost me $2100. I couldn't believe it. The same kit for a 4 x 4 version was only about 900 I think. And I did check everywhere. I was able to get the best price on eBay. But I got the installer that I used to match the price

Yep the fabtech is expensive. But it'd take 3k for spindles and coilovers. Then 5-700 for uniballs

So.... tuning question. My gas mileage went from 20 to 12 as I expected. But Is there a good tuner that will help get a few more miles per gallon?

Tuning it not possible on first gen. Not without a piggyback or standalone, that is.
