Hey all, so I recently lifted my truck with the bilstein 6112 front and 5160s in the rear and so far so good, much better then the yellow bilstienz that came stock. My only issue is the lift is only about 2 1/2 inches and I really want like 3 3 1/2, what are my options to get to the desired height? I seen some 1/2 inch spacers that would get me there but I heard the spacers kinda suck, any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh yea I also want to know if i can’t wait a few months to upgrade my ucas after getting to my desired height? Thanks!

I would suggest getting UCA's as soon as possible especially when you go for your 3" lift. I heard that anything past 2" is highly recommended to replace the UCA's for better alignment and for suspension travel. If you're only driving it around town I guess you'll be okay without it-- but going for 6112/5160's sounds like you plan to do some wheeling. I got Bilstein UCA's to pair with my 6112/5160's setup and I only went with a 2" lift. Caster is at 3 degrees and no clearance issues at full droop.

As for the extra lift, I'm thinking people will probably suggest you swap out the springs to get your 3". I'm running 1/4" spacers on mine with the fronts set to 1.5" lift because I wanted to keep the ride quality as best I can. If you don't have any issues with the ride I think either spacers or the springs will do the job.

yea I do need to get ucas soon, I might as well do ucas and a small spacer all at once. Yea I’m really liking the ride with the bilsteins, and we wheel probably once a week, live next to some cool trails so even just going for a couple hours In the afternoon is super doable. Thanks for the reply
