Dealership is trying to tell me the 2-3 inch spacer lift kit is the way to go because cost and ride will remain soft, where as the coil over and rear spring kits make the truck ride stiff. I agree on cost, but what about the ride?

I'm looking to lift to do moderate offroad trails that require some clearance and have some technical sections and keep ride soft on both road and trail, I don't want the paved road ride to stiffen.

My experience, I started with revtek block and spacer lift on my 2005, and then later switch to the EMU front coil and dakar rear springs and felt it road smoother at least on the rear with the dakar, but at that point my stock rear leafs were sagged out.

So what do you recommend for the 2016. I'm willing to spend the money for a plush ride like I can achieve with my motocross bike where i can turn a dial and have firm ride on the road and turn a dial to get plush smooth on the slow offroad technical.

Which stage did you do? 5 and 6 seem a little excessive.

None yet, starting over!! OME lift w/ Dakars & 885's Remote Start w/ window control
I just put on the OME kit with Dakars this past weekend, took it in Monday for an alignment, and I absolutely LOVE the new ride... not harsh or stiff IMO. Well worth the $1,000 that I spent on the kit. If you've had good experiences with the OME kits before, I'm not sure why you would even question it again.

Pretty sure everyone here will tell you to avoid the spacer/block kit, especially if you're gonna do any off-roading
